Car Hire Terms
Documents required
Passport and driving licence (plus an International Driving Permit for countries that are signatories to the 1949 Geneva Convention).
Driver’s age & length of licence held
● Minimum driver age: 22; at least 2 years’ driving experience.● Premium-class vehicles: age 25+, at least 5 years’ driving experience.
Payment Terms
Card payments: Mastercard, Visa, American Express.
Security Deposit
● Security deposit: €600 (standard cars) or €1,200 (SUVs and minibuses). The amount is pre-authorised on your bank card.● Corporate clients may provide a letter of guarantee instead of a card hold.● Excess (maximum liability): €1,080 or €1,440 — depending on the vehicle class.
For project agreements, no deposit is required.Rental Agreement
The rental agreement is executed in duplicate and in two languages (for foreign customers).
Vehicle Collection Procedure
● The vehicle is handed over with a full tank of fuel.● The vehicle’s condition and appearance are recorded in the Vehicle Handover Report.

Car Hire FAQs
Can someone else drive the car?
● Under clause 12 of the Hire Agreement, handing the vehicle over to third parties is prohibited.● “Additional Driver” service: €6 per day, capped at €36 for the entire hire.
For corporate clients, additional drivers may be unlimited and free of charge.What happens if the car is damaged during the hire?
If the customer has followed the correct accident-reporting procedure (notifying the police, the insurer and our representative), we will provide a replacement vehicle of the same class or higher.
Can I avoid the security deposit pre-authorisation on my card?
For private customers, a security deposit pre-authorisation is mandatory — even with Full Cover. In this case, €200 is pre-authorised to cover a short fuel return, hire extensions or other incidental charges.
For corporate clients, no deposit pre-authorisation is taken; instead, a letter of guarantee is signed.Can I return the car in another city (one-way)?
Yes, this is possible. A one-way fee of €120 applies.
For corporate clients, vehicle collection and return in Poland are available by prior arrangement.What happens if I exceed the mileage limit?
For private customers, there is no mileage limit.
For corporate clients only, the limit is 4,500 km per month. Any excess is charged at UAH 1.20 per km — though in practice we’ve never had to apply this.
